\”Won\’t Get Fooled Again\” is the classic rock\’n\’roll call to arms for refuseniks and the disenfranchised. Composer Pete Townshend said about writing the song \”There was a transition in me from refusal to be co-opted by activists, to a refusal to be judged by people I found jaded and compliant\”.
It is the final track on The Who\’s 1971 album Who\’s Next. Uploaded here in it\’s full glory, a drastically edited single version reached #15 in the US and #9 on the UK charts.
